ELKS 125TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION GALAAll members and their guests are invited to participate in the celebration of the 125th Anniversary of Lima Lodge #54. An exciting weekend of activities is planned for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 30th thru October 2nd.Friday evening will begin the festivities with a Casino Themed Night. There will be many casino themed activities offered along with plenty of prizes. The cost is $20.00 per person. This includes your entry plus a chance for the big ticket raffles. The drawings will take place on Friday evening. All proceeds will go to our 501(c)3 fund that supports Lima #54 charities such as scholarships, youth activities, and Cerebral Palsy programs. Reservations should be made through the office by September 15th. The dining room will offer a Picnic Buffet for $12.00 per person that will offer Barbecued Chicken, Hamburgers and Hot Dogs, Baked Beans, Assorted Salads and Dessert. Join us at the Lodge for afternoon football games.Saturday evening our Gala Celebration will begin at 6:00 PM with Cocktails and Hors d’oeuvres. Dinner will be served at 7:00 PM, and a short program will follow. Entertainment and dancing will begin at 8:30 PM. Dress is semi-formal. The cost for the evening is $25.00 per person and includes appetizers, dinner, tax and gratuity. Tickets must be purchased by September 15th, and are available in the office. On Sunday we will offer a special Breakfast Buffet from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM at a special cost of $7.95 per person. Reservations are suggested but not required.We are offering a hotel special for any out-of-town guests. We have a block of rooms reserved at the Wingate Hotel at a rate of $75.00 per night. Tell them that you are part of the Elks Celebration to receive the special rate. Reservations should be made with the Wingate at 419-228-7000. Reservations should be made by September 15th. Shuttle service will be available for Wingate guests for transportation to and from the lodge on Friday and Saturday.Please call the Lodge at 419-222-9951 to make reservations for the activities or should you have any questions.
